A Registered Christian Charitable Mission

Widow & Old age Ministry

Paul Israel Raj the youngest son of Rev. K.Paul Jabaraj had a vision from God, to start a Mercy Ministry, that is to help the poor and needy by providing them Clothing, financial support, 3 kilo of Rice  bag and delicious meal once in every week. This  ministry was born on 30th of September 2011 and will be continued every week by the Grace of God.

India is the country with the largest widow population in the world. It is estimated there are 40 million widows in India today – 10 per cent of the country’s female population. It has become home to the “husband-less”. Many widows are thrown out of family homes by their children or abandoned by their in-laws.

We act as guardians for a number of widows & Old age people who live alone and do not have the means to support themselves. We provide food, medicine, clothing and hope for a better life.

Every week Around 45 Poor & Old people come and receive the blessings, in coming days we are expecting to help more than 100 old age people. The main idea of this ministry is to bring the Lost Soul to Christ through this programme.

In Luke 16.9, Bible say's:- I tell you, use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings.

In the past and present days people strive hard to gain riches and wealth for themselves so that they can live a comfortable and luxurious life on this earth but they forget that none of the earned wealth would come with them in their eternal life. The great truth behind this passage is that God tells us to use our worldly wealth to gain SOULS for Him and when the life on this earth is over we will be greatly welcomed to our everlasting homes, and the deed that we have done would follow us.

Kindly continue to pray & support for this work.

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.  ( James 1: 27)
